Sacraments are signs made sacred by Christ to show His presence in the world and to help us reach a closer union with God.
Please contact the parish office for more information.

Infant Baptisms are usually celebrated the last weekend of the month. Parents need to be registered members of the parish and must complete our Baptism Preparation Program.

First Eucharist (First Communion):
Our sacramental preparation process centers on catechesis happening in the family, and is supported by Parish Religious Education and the school.
In order to help parents to take on the responsibility of being the primary catechists of their children, they are asked to attend two parent meetings. Following the meetings, parents and children work together at home with materials provided by the parish. Before the celebration of the sacrament, parents and children participate in a workshop.
The parish will provide child care during the parent meetings and the workshop if there is a need - stated in advance - for the service.
There is no fee associated with sacramental preparation, but any family wishing to participate has to register by providing the appropriate documentation to the Director of Lifelong Formation by September 15th.
Stewardship Opportunity:
First Eucharist Preparation Team:
Assists parish Director of Formation with programs and preparations for the celebration.

Confirmation:
Confirmation is the Sacrament that completes initiation into the Catholic Faith.
During this sacrament, the Archbishop anoints the candidates with oil and confers on them the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Incoming 8th graders and older are eligible to begin the process. The preparation and conferral of the Sacrament will last approximately 10 months. High school students or young adults seeking confirmation may have class separately from the 8th graders.
Confirmation is for members of St. Patrick Parish, regardless of the school they attend.
Please see our Youth Ministry section on Confirmation for more information.
