Sunday School

The parish Sunday School ministry allows our youngest parishioners (Ages 4, Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten) to take the beginning steps in a relationship with God, who loves them and cares for them.

Sunday School is a faith formation opportunity for children ages four and five. Sunday School begins September 24 and continues through April 29, 2018 during the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass.

The Pflaum Gospel Weeklies, which focus on the Sunday Gospel, serve as the curriculum. Children receive a colorful four-page pamphlet each week with activities and stories to assist in their learning.

Sunday School is a cooperative. Parents are expected to take their turn [about once every six or eight weeks] and serve as catechist or aide. Have no fear! Training is provided and a leader guide steps you through each lesson so you are bound to succeed.

To help us create a viable schedule, please use the Sign-Up Genius link below to choose the Sundays you serve.

Any adult volunteering must complete the Safe Environment Training required by the Archdiocese of Louisville.  If you are unsure of whether you have completed this training or if you need to schedule the training, please contact Lori Mehlbauer in the Parish Office, This email address is being protected from spambots.
