Catholic Curriculum

All students at St. Patrick participate in a comprehensive religion curriculum that is deeply rooted in the Catholic tradition. Students at St. Patrick actively participate in daily classroom prayer experiences, school-wide and grade level masses, and receive the sacraments of Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Confirmation.

St. Patrick’s Catholic curriculum is based on the U.S.C.C.B. (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops) recommended curriculum. Students at St. Patrick are required to participate in Catholic religious instruction every year.

All teachers teaching religion at St. Patrick receive catechist certification or participate in ongoing professional development through the Archdiocese of Louisville to obtain the necessary requirements to teach the faith.

The Catholic identity and culture at St. Patrick Catholic School can be understood as the presence or ethos driven by our Roman Catholic beliefs and values. It is experienced from the moment one enters the environment of our school. Our Catholic tradition is the mission and vision that encompass and pervades the thoughts, actions, and decisions made by every stakeholder in our community”
Dr. Michael Bratcher, Principal, St. Patrick Catholic School.
