St. Patrick: We Are Proud Of Our Facts!
We're Catholic
All students are enriched with a comprehensive religion curriculum that is deeply rooted in the Catholic tradition each day. In addition to daily classroom prayer, all students participate in school-wide and grade level masses weekly and receive the sacraments of Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation.
We're Devoted
St. Patrick Catholic School is committed to the Catholic education of our children. To reinforce this attitude, we are honored to have three Benedictine Nuns on our faculty. Sr. Jill teaches 1st grade and Sr. Doris teaches middle school religion. Sr. Sarah serves as our Learning Support Coordinator.
We're Degreed and Committed
Not only do 85 % of our teachers hold a Master’s degree or beyond, more than 20 members of our faculty and staff have given 15 or more years to Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Louisville. Our staff also includes one full-time counselor and one learning support coordinator.
We're Academically Excellent
Our Terra Nova scores consistently range near or in the top 10 percent nationally. Our Alumni perform well in high school and beyond. An average of 85% of our alumni makes their high school honor roll each quarter. We are proud of our Science Fair winners, Spelling Bee Champs, Governor’s Cup and Quick Recall success, Y-Club achievements and much more! In addition to following the high standards of the Archdiocese of Louisville Curriculum Framework, we offer Spanish, art, music, PE and computer to all students.
We're State of the Art
Thanks to our technology ‘Refresh’ program, all of the computer hardware and software is continuously updated and rotated throughout the building. We have a stellar computer lab with 30 large, flat screen monitors and a mobile cart with 30 laptops for use in the middle school. In addition, we have one class set of iPads for student use, and each teacher has an iPad for incorporating technology into his/ her curriculum. We have Smart Boards and Whole Room Listening Systems in every classroom to help provide the highest level of instruction possible.

We're Trailblazing Award-Winners
In 2002, the Step-By-Step Student Stewardship program was created by our own Susan Reuter. Her vision was to teach and inspire our students to be more aware and knowledgeable about those in need in our community and beyond. This Christ centered, grade level curriculum takes our students beyond the classroom and into nursing homes, soup kitchens, food pantries and much more. We have been honored to receive the Catholic Schools for Tomorrow Award for Innovations in Education and the National Schools of Character Promising Practices Award for this program. We have two nationally recognized teachers – Mrs. Phyllis Dries (3rd grade) was a National Catholic Education Association’s Teacher of the Year in 2012, and Mrs. Jody Hartigan (7th and 8th grade) was awarded the Amgen Science Teaching excellence award in 2012.
We're Talented
From our ‘bring down the house’ drama productions to our award winning chess team, our students shine. Our students enjoy the opportunity to participate and succeed in such areas as youth choir, band, cheerleading, art, science and reading.
We're Athletic
Our Celtic Athletic Ministry is one of the largest sports programs in the Archdiocese. Approximately 95% of our students play at least one sport. And it’s no wonder, as we offer everything from football and basketball to soccer and baseball. Field Hockey and volleyball popular as well as our swimming, golf and tennis teams.
We're Established
Founded in 1993, our unique and beautiful facilities were built in three stages and were completed in the Fall of 2001. Our history now shows our commitment to being the best we can be in all areas both spiritually and academically.
